Melbourne Living eNews reaches 10,000 people with projects each fortnight

Melbourne Living eNews has exceeded its target of 10,000 readers in a mere nine months, and is now increasing its frequency to fortnightly.

“Inbox media is a quick and contemporary way to get your message across,” comments publisher Janice Williams.  “Melbourne Living eNews has succeeded because its database of subscribers is heavily engaged in projects, and only want to hear about home products and ideas that are available in Melbourne.”

Melbourne Living eNews publishes the work of Melbourne blogger Steph Dunbar and is curated by Nicola Hower. It is a neat package of articles that arrives in your inbox with the right mix of eye-candy and practical information.

Melbourne Living is powered by the network. is the “do-it-for-me’ home portal of Universal Magazines. The site offers home ideas, information and advice in 10 verticals, plus blogs and several eNews services.

Our focus is people with projects

The network has had a huge year with the successful launch of several eNews products and a sophisticated project-based method for capturing the data of interested subscribers.

“No business has time or money to pay for clicks from consumers that are not yet committed to projects,” says Williams. “By engaging readers in a pre-purchase research funnel, we know we are only delivering visits that have value.”

The Melbourne Living Facebook page has also attracted more than 5000 genuine followers.

Quick fact: 74% of readers intend to start projects within the next six months.
